- Good can come out of bad. I have been through a lot with my health problems over the years. It has driven me to worry often and forced me to trust God. Out of these times have come some monumental generation things. They were not wasted seasons. (See Galatians 4:13–15)
- Realize that you are growing through these circumstances. Your trials and stress are producing perseverance, character, and hope. (See Romans 5:3–5)
- Know that sufferings are only for a season. Get hope in knowing that the Spirit is praying for you! (See Romans 8:18, 26, 28, 31, 34)
- Get God’s peace. Let Christ be your peace (John 14:27, Ephesians 2:14)
- Be of good cheer. It is the best medicine (John 16:33, Proverbs 17:22)
- Pray instead of worry. (See Philippians 4:6–8)
- Be still and know that I am God. (See Psalm 46:10)
- Let God quiet you with His love (Zephaniah 3:17)
- Let Him give you rest and sleep (Psalm 127:2)
- Find out who cares (1 Peter 5:6–7)
- Do not be afraid (Deuteronomy 31:6)
- Let God help you (Psalm 46:1)
- God is your rock; let Him deliver you (Psalm 91:2–6)
- Know that trials are building your character (James 1:1–3)
- The trials are temporary (2 Corinthians 4:16-17)
- You are in good company (1 Peter 4:12)
