Love God, Love Each Other, Serve Others
It is the love of God that draws us to Him, despite our sins and past failures. He created you to love Him. No matter where you are in life. No matter what age or what season. The Westminster Catechism says that “the chief end of man is to glorify God and to enjoy Him forever.” God’s love draws us to Him. God’s love wins in the end, but it wins out eternally, after we make a choice to follow Him entirely. Acts 4:12 says “and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name, but that of Jesus Christ, under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved.”
Stop amid the sirens, and let God love you. Make it your prayer that you can encounter God, encounter Jesus, and encounter the Holy Spirit. Pray and ask God to teach you, to fill you, to cleanse you and to empower you. Pray, “Revive me and refresh me, oh Lord!”
